Hong Kong lunch hours often overlap with busy windows on several networks our clients use. The calculator does not care about the clock — but the inputs you feed it do.
What we observe
Between roughly 12:30 and 14:00 HKT, some clients see gas quotes jump enough to flip which of two routes wins. A morning scenario report can look outdated by early afternoon without any change in the pair list.
What to do with that
- Re-enter gas before you confirm, even if the rest of the sheet is unchanged
- Prefer waiting over forcing a route when the fee delta exceeds your edge
- For larger sizes, schedule the live audit outside the noisiest hour when you can
What not to do
Do not average gas from a weekly chart and paste it into a same-day decision. The PC calculator is only as honest as the gas figure you type.
